DARKWAVE GOTHIC FESTIVAL

Apoptygma Berzerk (N) AB has been touring Europe this summer, and have been headlining several big festivals, and in November they leaving for the USA. This will be the first opportunity to experience AB in Oslo in 3 years. AB plays world class EBM - Electronic Body Music - , and for the uninitiated this means that we will be given raw, hypnotic synth-based music with references to both Front 242 and Depeche Mode.

The Merry Thoughts (D) From Germany comes MT, one of the greatest bands in the traditional goth genre today. They have obvious references to the Sisters of Mercy - quite a few even thinks that MT are better... At least as a live-band!

Elusive (N) E is the new project to Tommy Olsson from Theatre of Tragedy and former Morendoes. E presents a atmospheric goth/synth hybrid. Stavanger's darkest?

Shellyz Raven (N) A fairly new band from dark southern parts of Norway - Grimstad... SR plays goth of the heavier type, which is being balanced by an exquisite female vocal.

Gothic nachspiel/breakfast with Snakebite and vampyre movies (DJ's).

Cobalt 60 (F) C60 consists of members from Front 242 and Cassandra Complex. Describeed as hard EBM with a dosage brutal guitar.
