Finally Gotham Nights can, in collaboration with Shadowland Production, present one of the really big and legendary bands in the goth genre - maybe the rock genre in general. THE MISSION UK

The band consists of Wayne Hussey (Dead or Alive, Sisters of Mercy), Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy, The Cult), Mark Thwaite (Tricky) and Scott Garett (The Cult). The band started back in 1985 as a result of Hussey and Adams leaving The Sisters of Mercy. The band had an almost instant success with number one hits in the indie charts, world tours, headlining the Reading Festival '87, and a great number of releases. The band went into hibernation in '96, and most of us though they had gone into the rock history.

But, Wayne Hussey wanted it differently. In the autumn of 1999 he released a record with new recordings of Mission's greatest hits. This also resulted in a world tour: Resurrection '99.

This obviously gave them all the inspiration they needed, because the band are now on their Recon 2000 tour which takes them to John Dee in Oslo on the 5th of November.
