After ram-packing club John Dee on our Black Celebration concert on the 17th of May, Gotham Nights is proud to present Black Sunday – a full day of dark alternative music at Oslo’s premiere alternative club, So What!. We kick off at 4pm, with outside drinks and our in-house DJ’s playing goth, synthpop, EBM and industrial in So What!’s back yard.

CrüxshadowsAt 9pm, we tumble (or stumble) down to So What!’s basement, where Norwegian Industrial-act Anax Imperator will be warming up the stage for our main attraction, the American goth band Crüxshadows. Crüxshadows have been touring almost continuously the last year, and are currently holding a nr. 7 spot on the German alternative music charts with their song “Tears”.

Their music is best described as new romantic-inspired goth with catchy songs and plenty of gloomish punch. In addition to front-man Rouge’s carismatically outgoing stage-appearance and cyber-romantic costumes, Crüxshadows also feature interweaved violinplaying from the lovely Rachel McDonell. Everything is set for a Black Sunday extraordinaire!
