Pride and Fall: This trio from Stavanger, Norway, recently won the title "Best Norwegian Synth Band"; in a national contest held in Fredrikstad. It was awarded by the audience as well as a jury. Pride and fall plays EBM with a gothic feel to it. Combined with good songs, pulsing beats borrowed from dance/trance and a ripping guitar on top, there guys are sure to rock the house with their utterly dancefloor-friendly, yet mean and punchy set. Press on Pride and Fall: "I could only do some lust filled noises, though this is one of the absolutely best unsigned bands I've ever heard live. This is EBM, with some kind of Electro-Goth character that I cannot put my finger on. Massive pressure in the songs is threatening my heart to change its beating and follow their playing. I cannot find any more words, I can only give you the order: Keep your eyes open... ... Your sharing the throne tonight, Zensor and Pride and Fall." - HÃ¥kan Ljunggren, (after Pride and Fall's performance at Oslo Synthfestival) Neurologic Productions ...The result is guitar-driven melodious music coupled with dark soundscapes and rough techno-beats. With roots in both goth/darkware and trance/house pride and fall are set on reaching a large audience... -Dagbladet, a one of Norway's three largest daily newspapers. DJ Cash: This fellow is also known as Hein Frode Hansen, drummer of internationally acclaimed goth/rock/electronica-band Theatre Of Tragedy. He will be keeping the dark-clad dancefloors pumping, together with Gotham Nights' resident DJ's. |
