We are happy to announce that Gotham Nights have started what most probably will be a long and fruitful collaboration with the club/concert venue Mars here in Oslo. This joining of forces will result in us being able to present you all with more concerts with bands from all corners of the world, large and small. The concert will from know on mostly be held at the venue Mars (Storgata 22), while the club-happenings will continue at So What as usual, once a month.

The initiation of this collaboration will be held at the Norwegian National Day, 17th of May, and will serve as an alternative evening for those of you who has gotten tired of the traditional celebration of this day. For this Black Celebration we are honored to presentDark Side Cowboys (S), Mist of Avalon (S) and Magica (N) to you all:

Dark Side Cowboys (S) One of the biggest Swedish bands today, with as much as four CD-releases and a multitude of concerts, among them Arvika '98, to their name. The play traditional goth with a strong theatrical side.

The Mist of Avalon (S) A very fresh Swedish band, which has been received well by the press, and has been able to build up a strong reputation as a very good live band. Doom-goth with references to My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost.

Magica (N) Lene and Kat (both ex. Cybele), Happy (Eternal Joy) and Tor (Pluto Press) has joined forces, and the result is the first "Supergroup" in the Norwegian goth scene. Combines drum samples and synth with traditions and drama. (Note - enters the stage at 22.00.)

The doors open at 21:00, and the first band enters the stage at 22:30. The tickets costs 90 NOK, and can be bought in advance at Posten or Billettservice, 815 - 33 133 (the code for Mars is 268) or Internet.
