JOY!!!! Probably the greatest event on Gotham Nights to date. Faith and the Muse
are coming to Oslo as a part of their European leg of the Vera Causa tour. You just
can't miss this.
Faith And The Muse are a rarity in these times. A duo, composed of
William Faith (former
Christian Death and
Mephisto Walz) and
Monica Richards, Faith And The Muse have managed managed to gain
the attention of an impossibly vast assortment of music fans, ranging from Gothic, Darkwave and Industrial to
Celtic, Classical and Ethereal/Ambient.
Conceived in March of 1993, Faith And The Muse came together with the intention of taking music to new extremes; the band
performs an astounding array of musics, easily transcending standard Gothic Rock strictures, while still retaining the dark
aesthetic. Faith And The Muse weave their music using a surreal mixture of Classical, traditional/ethnic influences
(Celtic, Eastern, etc.), and dark rock stylings, veiled in imagery that travels the spheres and the shadows.
They are visiting Oslo as a part of their
Vera Causatour; this tour will feature William and Monica performing acoustically in
venues that have an archaic and personal atmosphere.
Come and join us , have a drink or just walk around looking at all the fancy garments, an preferably a combination.
You are all very welcome to our humble realm, hidden from the world outside. Doors open at 21.00,
it cost 100 N.Kr ($12) and you have to be older that 20 to get in.
"Once in black, there is no going back" is a motto for us goths. Come and you'll see what I mean.
"Welcome to our realm. Enter freely and out of your own will." -Freely after B. Stoker.
