We are very proud to be able to have the release party for the excellent Norwegian band Theatre of Tragedy's new release. Almost the whole band will attend and they have brought with them a bunch of merchandise which will be given away. Note: the band will not be playing live.

Theatre of Tragedy of Stavanger has during the 5 years they have existed sold over 300.000 records! A number that very few Norwegian artists can match. But, that does not mean that they are well know here. They have almost been ignored by the Norwegian musical scene and press, but have managed to become big stars in countries like Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico etc. They are known as "the originator and masters of atmospheric gothic rock/metal with female vocals".

Musically they have moved from being a metal band, through a gothic phase, and are now being characterized as gothic/electro rock. The producer on "Musique" is the former Seigmen producer Erik Ljunggren. Their previous release reached number 58 in the German album charts - it will be exciting to see how high this new album will climb in the charts!

The location is CURB (Custom Rock Bar) at Storgata 22. The doors will open at 21:00 and the cover charge is set to 50 NOK plus 10 NOK in members fee. The age limit is 18.
